FLO'S REVIEW

Laci on Top by Donna Jay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“I swear you're trying to kill me.”

“Patience, I promise to make it a pleasurable death.”

That was a fun read. Sexy, hilarious and quick.

Laci and Cole have been married for more than 20 years and recently their only son has left the home for university. Just the right time for a loving couple to do some experimenting. Laci has always been dominating in bed and with the new found freedom they take it a little further.

I am not a newbie when it comes to femdom reads, but those books usually tend to be more on the edgy side. Laci on Top is a perfect gateway drug. Very light and easy to get into, maybe take a feel if the genre is something you want to read more of. Cole and Laci have very beautiful and established relationship, as well as a lot of trust. Exploring their fantasies is easy and makes the book a very lovely read, wrapped up in light BDSM.

For someone who usually goes for strong, alpha male book boyfriends I really liked Cole in this book. He commits to his wife, but still comes over as a proper male, not some whimpering fool.

All in all, a nice drama free read, filled with sexy escapades. Told with dual POV and for now a standalone. The writing was enjoyable and fluid and I really think Ms. Jay should expand on this book. I would love to see Laci and Cole stretching their boundaries a little more. *wink wink*
